Real or myth???

                                                        Real or myth???
                                                                    ***Part 1***

We heard so many times about ghost stories and vampires. Can any of it be real? Most of the people would say no, but what to think when there are hundreds of people who are admitting it to be true? Would you believe it then? Let’s take a few facts which are proved by many persons and let’s analyse them.
Vampires
Vlad Tepes.
 Have you heard of him? If you ever heard of vampires, or even more, if you are a fan of vampires, then you must know everything about him.
Everything must start from somewhere, big or small, fake or real, everything has a beginning. Did you ever think who invented vampires? Or even better, have you ever thought if vampires are just a dream of a person which became famous? Well, no. The legend of vampires started from Vlad Tepes.
He was the king of Romania in 1448, and he was the first person to be called as a vampire. While he ruled, he was a very mean person and he was having a very special way of punishing any small mistake made in his kingdom. The persons who did any mistake, would end up being killed in a very torturous way. He would impale those persons and then let them hang there so that everyone could see the corpses.
Vlad Tepes was described as a monster which was drinking human blood and enjoying to torture people.
Can this be real? A myth or reality? If you ask me, he was just a very cruel person. What do you think? Please feel free to comment.

Giants
 BUCEGI MOUNTAINS (Romania)
                 Many years ago, near these mountains, there existed a legend which confirmed the presence of giants in that place. People used to say that they had seen giants of 13ft and more. We saw it in many movies too, right? But can this be real? Or its just a story to scare the kids?
                Well, not long ago, scientists found real huge skeletons of around 4 to 5 metres (which means minimum 13 ft) and you know what’s most amazing? They didnt find only one skeleton, they found 80!!!!
And that’s not all, skeletons of giants were found all around the world. Short list of countries where giants were found:

v  Romania;
v  Fillipine;
v  Ceylon;
v  Mexico;
v  Ecuador- the skeleton had 7.6 meters;
v  Armenia;
v  Egypt;
v  Israel.

So as we see, proofs of giants are everywhere. What’s left to say about them? Were they real or just a myth? Having so many proofs, i really think they were real, do you?

Monsters
Lacul Dracului  means The lake of Satan

The legend talks about a deal made between an old man and Satan. One day, the old man was out with his sheep and a strange little person appears. The little person dares the old man to fry a fish without modifying its shape. The old man accepts the dare but he also dares the little person to fry the head of a goat without making it smile. The bet was made and the old man had won. The fish remained same but the goat showed its teeth while being cooked. Because of anger, the little man became Satan and jumped in a lake nearby them. Now it is said that the lake is so deep that it doesn’t have an end, and anyone who jumps in it, never returns.
Can it be real??? Would you jump in such a lake? To be honest, I believe that this is just a myth, but still I would not test it.

Part 2 will be coming soon.

                                                                   Part1- introduction.

Hi theeeree!! My name is Beatrice, but some friends are calling me just Tris. I'm 19 years old and I’m living in a small country called Romania. Probably you know nothing about it which is super normal, so in case you are curious to know more about this little country, you can click on the following link : ( Find more about Romania). Oh and by the way, I almost forgot, Romania is the country where the legend of vampires got birth, and many other interesting things .
For moment I'm studying informatics, yeah, I'm going to be an engineer. I'm having only two big hobbies, I think you already guessed:
1.       I like doing work on computers and electronic things. I like programming even if I'm just in beginning, and I love discovering new problems so that I can fix them.
2.       I'm in love with writing, my birth language is Romanian but I love English so now I'm trying my first blog in English. Hope you guys will like it .
In this blog, first of all I'm going to talk about Romania, because I really consider it a
beautiful country and everyone should visit it but unfortunately, it’s hard to get to know enough about it.
I hope you will like it and if you have suggestions, I would like to hear them all, just leave a comment. Thank you all for understanding .

All around the world ****** Part 2.0 - Romania

                                                                          All around the world
                                                                           Part 2.0 - Romania

Population : 19.96 millions
Capital : Bucharest
Official language : Romanian
                Let’s start with beginning, Romania is in Europe, and is one of the countries in which if you go then you can get a piece of everything. What I mean by everything? Here we have both tradition and fashion, we have very nice beaches at sea, we have very good mountains for skating, we have plain ground and we also have gorgeous forests. Am I missing something??? Of course!! I forgot to mention that we have one of the most beautiful waterfalls in world and the most amazing road.
                   Let’s get more deep, this post I'm going to divide into two, traditional and fashion.

Traditional Romania
If you are in search of traditions, Romania is for sure the place to go. To be more specific, I'm going to write a list with traditional places in Romania:
-         - Maramures;
-          -Valea Prahovei;
-          -Poiana Brasov;
-          -Valea Oltului;
-          -Balea Lac.
Ok so these 5 places are mostly famous for traditions, now I know that these are only names for you so what about I give you just few details, right?
        Balea Lac- My favourite is Balea Lac and honestly is one of the least traditional but it’s amazing. Here every winter, a huge hotel is being built from ice. So if you want to feel like you are a character from Frozen, here you can live your dream alone or with family.
This hotel is not just made of ice, but it’s also mixing in tradition with help of an extraordinary restaurant.
Maramures- here its one amazing graveyard, people from everywhere come to visit it. You must be thinking what the heck can be so special in a graveyard? Well, people from Maramures thought that they should make a funny-happy graveyard. They created this graveyard called as “Cimitirul Vesel”. Here every grave has funny pictures and quotes. This makes it so colourful and funny that people actually pay to visit it.
Valea Oltului- name of this place comes from the river called OLT. Here you can find so many traditional amazing churches and also you can find pools with hot natural water. The water contains so many minerals which makes it very healthy and special.
Valea Prahovei- here most of people are coming for skating. There are also so many traditional homes and hotels, so you get to live traditional and also skate.
Poiana Brasov- this place is again known for skating and traditions but what makes it special is that its considered one of the cheapest places for skating in Europe as per Daily Mail, from England.

In traditional Romania you can still get to see people living in full tradition like years ago, wearing same clothes, living by same rules, eating same kind of food which is amazing. It’s just like going in past.

                Fashion in Romania
We don’t have only tradition but we also have so much fashion, especially in capital of the country, Bucharest. You can find several malls where you can buy things from any famous brand, like Zara, H&M, D&G, Louis Vuitton and many others, these are just very few examples.
And one other good thing is that in few malls you can even find ice for skating, and you can rent it one hour at very good prices. So in a Romanian mall you have everything mixed at one place.
                Famous malls in Bucharest :
-          Mall Plaza Romania;
-          Mall Afi palace Cotroceni ( my favourite);
-          Mall Sun Plaza;
-          Other smaller malls.
There are many other malls but I only listed those which I truly like. Now it’s up to you what you chose, I'm also going to add a link of a Wikia page where are all malls from Bucharest.
